Handling PURE essential oils

Essential oils, although produced from natural sources, are not necessarily `safe'. They are potent, complex chemical compounds and should be treated with the same respect as is shown with medicines. If in doubt about how to use essential oils, consult a professional.

  • Use with care - A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
  • DO NOT USE pure essential oil on the skin
  • DO NOT INGEST pure essential oil

Storage of pure essential oils

  • In amber (or dark) glass or stainless steel, with a gaseous nitrogen blanket displacing any air gap. Never fill containers to the top - always leave a gap to allow for expansion of the oil with temperature changes.
  • Upright, in a cool, dry and dark area.
  • In child proof containers.
  • Pure essential oils will be degraded by contact with rubber or plastic.
  • Pure essential oils will deteriorate plastics and rubber.
